Provided in the following Bowie, MD zip codes only currently: 20715, 20716, 20720, 20721, and 20769. Accepting Medicare, Carefirst, and Aetna plans and requires a doctor’s prescription. Standard physical therapy copays apply. These visits are traditionally scheduled 1-3 times weekly after the initial evaluation.

I will provide a one hour consultation and written report of recommendations for home modifications for aging-in-place. Families welcome to participate. Includes 15-min follow up call. Cost $300.

Now providing annual senior fitness check-in with focus on balance and exercise program recommendations to allow for you to stay in your home safely for as long as possible. Single visit only with follow up 15 minute call after 30 days, does not require doctor’s note. $150, not covered by insurance.

Can be added a-la-carte to home PT sessions or separate self-pay sessions at your home, rates vary.
About Meghan
Professionally, Dr. Meghan has been an orthopedic physical therapist for over 20 years in the Bowie and Laurel MD area. She has worked in outpatient clinics, home-based settings focusing on joint replacements, and spent many years performing aquatic physical therapy. She has been a certified orthopedic clinical specialist since 2010 and also holds a dry needling certification.
Meghan recently became a Certified-Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) in order to provide home modification consulting. She is highly qualified to recommend appropriate home modifications to stay in your forever home regardless of what life throws your way. She can also provide you with a quick list of cost-effective recommendations to come home after a sudden unexpected illness or injury.
Personally, Meghan has a busy family life and enjoy spending time with her kids, husband, parents, and our big wild dog. I enjoy being outside and especially helping my parents rehab their historic farm on the weekends.
